SHIPPING POLICY — THE LITTLE WICK

This policy explains how we package, process, and deliver your order. Because every candle is hand poured to order, please read the processing time section carefully — it's separate from delivery time.

PROCESSING TIME
Candles are hand poured after your order is placed and are usually ready to ship within one week. During busy periods (e.g. holidays or sales), processing may take a little longer — if that happens, we'll let you know by email.

DELIVERY AREAS
We currently deliver within South Africa.

SHIPPING COSTS

  • Orders of R750 or more qualify for free delivery.
  • Orders under R750 are charged a flat delivery fee of R130 at checkout, calculated automatically based on your delivery address.

COURIER AND DELIVERY TIME
Once your order is dispatched, delivery typically takes 2–4 business days depending on your location. You'll receive a notification with tracking details (if available) once your order ships.

Delivery estimates are just that — estimates. We're not responsible for delays once a parcel is with the courier, though we're always happy to help you follow up on a late delivery.

PACKAGING
Candles are fragile and often poured into glass containers. We package every order carefully to minimise the risk of damage in transit. If your candle arrives broken or damaged, see our Refund & Returns Policy for how to report it — we'll sort out a replacement or refund.

ADDRESS ACCURACY
Please double-check your delivery address at checkout. We're not able to redirect a parcel once it's been handed to the courier, and re-delivery due to an incorrect address may incur an additional shipping fee.

MISSED OR FAILED DELIVERIES
If a delivery attempt fails (for example, nobody available to receive it) and the parcel is returned to us, we'll contact you to arrange re-delivery. A second delivery fee may apply.

LOCAL PICKUP [IF OFFERED
You're welcome to collect your order from our studio in Benoni at no charge. We'll email you once it's ready for collection, along with pickup times.
